What we want to change and why we want to change it
Over 2,000 of our students have registered themselves as having a disability. We are running a Disability Awareness Week from Mon 30 – Fri 4 Dec to raise awareness about disability, offer activities to help make Queen’s a more welcoming place and give an opportunity for those students with disabilities to voice their opinion on how things in the University could improve for the better.
We want to provide our students with a platform to communicate their perception of living with a disability so that together we can work collectively to create a world that sees the ability not disability. Help us Break The Mould.
From Introductory Sign Language Classes, My Guide Training and a Sensory Experience to a Disability Round-Table Discussion, have a look at What’s On.
We are also running a survey, both online and around campus, for all students to take part in to feedback on issues of disability and support on campus. Please do take the time to complete it and give us your important feedback - it won't take long!
