Activities & Engagement

Hi everyone! Dia daoibh!

My name is Róisín Costelloe, and I am your Activities & Engagement Officer for 2025/26. I have an undergraduate degree in Law with Politics, and I am working towards a master’s in International Commercial and Business Law. Throughout my time at Queen’s, I have been involved in lots of SU activities. I have been an executive member in clubs and socs, a homework club volunteer, course rep, student councillor and worked as part of the operations team as a purple shirt.

I believe that university is more than just academics and I want to help people find their place within the SU as it offers something for everyone. This year I plan to work closely with clubs and societies, be the voice of students, and get as many students engaged with and feeling a part of the SU community as possible.

My main 3 priorities are:

• Support Clubs & Societies, and Associations
• Reduce PEC fees for Queen’s athletes
• Safer Environment for All: End violence against women and girls
