Queen’s University Football Club through to semi-final of the Irish Cup

The Speakeasy Bar, sponsor of Queen’s University Football Club, proudly announces the Club’s progression to the semi-final stage of the Irish Cup for the first time in its 104 year history.

The Club defeated Championship 1 side Bangor FC 3-2 at the Dub last Saturday with the hero on the day, Mark Prenter, scoring two great free kicks.

A semi-final clash against Ballymena United is now to take place at the Oval on Saturday 5, April.

Queen’s is enjoying a great season as the Club sits close to the top of Championship 2 and has also defeated Lurgan Celtic, Limivady Utd and Lisburn Distillery on its cup run.
