The Pantry: Free Refill Station

As part of our ongoing campaign to mitigate the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on our students, the SU have teamed up with the University to provide The Pantry, a free refill station located on the Ground Floor of One Elmwood Students' Union and Student Centre. 

Products include:

  • cereals/grains
  • pasta/noodles/pulses
  • herbs and spices
  • household items
  • fresh fruit & vegetables (available on Mondays)

How it works:

  • You can take up to 3 items from each section
  • Please bring your own reusable containers/bags
  • We ask that students visit the Pantry a maximum of 2 times per week so we can cater for as many students as possible

Considering the lunch event and the recent numbers in Pantry so we are delaying Pantry opening on Monday to 1.30pm

Please note- due to Free Lunches happening in the SU Foyer on Monday 17 November 2025, the Pantry will run from 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Opening Hours*:

  • Mon: 12pm–2pm
  • Tues 12pm–2pm & 4.30pm – 6pm
  • Wed: 12pm–2pm & 4.30pm – 6pm
  • Thurs: 12pm–2pm
  • Friday: 12pm–2pm
