Fund It
Have an idea that benefits the Queen’s community?
Whether it's starting a wellbeing initiative, campaigning for students, purchasing Club or Society equipment, running a community event, or something else - our Fund It grants can give you the money to make it happen!
You can apply below for a grant of £50-£500 to help support a student-led event or initiative in Semester Two.
If your application is successfully shortlisted, you will be invited along to make a presentation to a panel of Students’ Union judges in mid-January 2023.

Application Do's & Don'ts
Please provide as much detail as possible in your application. We want to know:
- how your idea will benefit students at Queen's and/or our local community and environment
- how it supports your chosen theme
- why we should award funding for your project
Keep in mind that Fund It awards cannot go towards individual requests for:
- maintenance fees or scholarships
- political or religious groups
- direct donations to charities
Be aware that you may use Fund It money towards one-off trainer/facilitator fees, but not for project staff costs.
Be aware that you may allocate a maximum of 20% of your planned Fund It spending on catering costs.
If you are not part of a Club or Society and are applying for equipment costs, please be aware that any equipment purchased using a Fund It award must be returned to the SU when your project is complete.
