Haigh, a chairde! I’m Jack, your Student Officer for Welfare and Community. 

I studied a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics here at Queens.

I’ve had a strong involvement in the Students Union since my first year at Queens, as President of the Pride Society and as LGBT+ Students’ Association Chair among other involvements.

As a welfare officer my role is aimed to improve your experience of housing, safety, wellbeing and other areas. One of the biggest areas I’ll be working on is leading the university’s drug and alcohol harm reduction programme, reducing harm and supporting students.
