Haigh gach duine! My name is Beth and I’m your SU President this year!

I’m a Pharmaceutical Studies graduate and was previously your Education Officer. I spent last year working on strengthening the Student Voice in all aspects of university life, and decided to re-run for the role of President so that I could spent a year focusing on bigger picture supports for students – cost of living, mental health, community building.

As President, I’ll work closely with senior University staff, often acting as the sole student voice on serious issues – so reach out and let me know about issues you’re facing. Students are the experts and I want to hear from you!

Three things I’m going to work on include: 

• Cost of Living Support for Students
• Building Community and Democracy
• Mental Health and Wellbeing Events and Funding
