SU Swap Shop
Introducing a new sustainable and cost-effective way of shopping at the Students’ Union.
Swap pre-loved clothing and items to refresh your wardrobe or spruce up your digs. We’re located on the Ground Floor of the Students' Union beside The Pantry.
How it works:
- Hand in one previously loved item.
- Receive one token (this can be used in a like-for-like swap).
- Make your swap!
Current tokens valid to 31 October 2025.
Items we accept for swapping:
- Adult clothing, footwear and accessories.
- Bedding and towels.
- Kitchenware (excluding sharp knives).
- Bric a Brac/soft furnishings (no electrical goods/candles).
We accept one swap per visit.
Items must be in good condition: no rips, stains or damage.
We reserve the right to refuse unacceptable swaps and donations.
Donated stock which is not suitable for swapping and/or has been in the Swap Shop for 8 weeks+ may be reallocated to ‘freecycle’ rails in QSU, BT9 recycle hub and/or donated to our charity partner (currently BHF & Cancer Research).
Opening Hours:
Mon – Thurs: 12.30pm–4pm
Opening Hours W/C 15th Dec:
Mon, Wed, Fri: 2pm – 4pm
Winter Closure: The SU Swap Shop will be closed from Sat 20 Dec and will resume on Mon 12 Jan.
