As a student at Queen's University, you are automatically a member of Queen’s Students’ Union (QSU) along with over 25,000 other students!
Your Union is led by a team of six Student Officers who are here to represent you and your views. You decide what we do, when we do it and where. No matter who you are, where you’re from, what Faculty, School or course you’re studying, or what type of student you are, we're here to help and support you.
Your time at University is about so much more than getting a degree. It’s about making lifelong friends, discovering new passions, developing skills and having incredible experiences that you’ll remember forever.
We also offer a wide range of services, support, and activities for students including:
- We have over 240 student-run clubs and societies that cover various interests, from academic and cultural groups to sporting clubs and hobby socieites.
- Students can get involved in local community service through our various volunteering schemes and programmes.
- We run programs and competitions that foster entrepreneurship, helping students develop skills and grow their own businesses.
- Our advice team provides free, confidential advice concerning academic, conductm, money, funding and housing issues.
- We organise over 400 events per year which vary from fairs, workshops, charity events, awards and more!
- The Union is also home to a bar, shop, and entertainment venue, making it a social hub for students.
