Come along anytime between 11-2pm where a range of activities will be taking place:
- STAND Info Stall: STAND celebrates the power ordinary people have to change the world and supports third-level students to stand up for justice and equality. Chat to them to learn more about important global issues and find out how you can take positive action.
- Concern Info Stall: Concern strives for a world free from poverty, fear and oppression. The organisation delivers lifesaving and life-changing interventions to the world's poorest and most vulnerable people; from rapid emergency response to innovative development programming, they go to the hardest to reach places to make sure that no-one is left behind.
- Sensory Crafting: Enjoy some arty activities with student-led society QUB Inclusion
- Sustainable Art: Explore how the 17 sustainable development goals are relevant to student life. Hear how QSU and QUB are incorporating them into their work with SU Volunteer and QUB Sustainability and suggest ideas on what else we could be doing! (11-1.30pm)
- SU Swap Shop: Visit to have a look around and find out how it works!
- Ending Violence Against Women & Girls Workshop: Led by expert trainers, participants will embark on a transformative journey, examining personal biases and engaging in open, honest dialogue. Delivered by White Ribbon NI, which works to challenge the attitudes and beliefs which lead to violence against women and girls in Northern Ireland. Lunch will also be provided! Registration required for this workshop. (1.30-3.30pm, SU Blue Sky Room)
